I never liked my family name. People were always messing it up - getting it wrong, to put it politely. Schneeder. Schreiber. Scheider.
Though it’s actually a very easy name to pronounce right: Schieder – as in, Shee’der.
I was over 40 when my father casually remarked, about the name: "You know what it means, don’t you."
I had never thought of that.
"The one who can tell the difference. The one who understands and can judge, can decide. The chief. The judge."
The one who can tell the difference - like between truth and falsehood. The one who understands and can judge - like what is going on.
Quite a name to have in this world where so little is as it seems to be.
And then, a lifelong quest has been to perceive, to make sense of things.
Lifelong, I've been an explorer, creator, co-creator.

So many projects and creative works!
If you click on Explorer or Creator, you'll go to a site with links to lots of what I've done.
If you click
on Co-Creator, you'll go to Full Flourishing, the model of personal development I created because I couldn't find anything that felt complete enough.
And if you'd like to subscribe to what I'm doing at the moment, here are my two current blogs:
